The members of the BNAM 2026 TC are shown to the right and they are now setting up the BNAM 2026 program with suitable Session Chairs and sessions Co-Chairs.
It will be very interesting to hear the above keynote speakers and by the 3rd of November it will be possible to submit abstracts and we have already received the first ones. Registration will open by the 17th of November. The conference will start with a short opening ceremony and end by a closing ceremony. We will also let our Platinum and Gold sponsors give short presentations.
Due to the large interest we will have dual seminars in parallel all days and there will also be some special workshops and visits to the applied acoustic laboratory at Chalmers.

BNAM 2026 Topics
Topics BNAM 2026
- Aero Acoustics
- Audio & Music
- Bio Acoustics
- Building Acoustics
- Environmental Noise
- Health & Medical
- Hearing & Audiology
- Measurements Techniques HW & SW
- Noise at Workplace
- Noise & Vibrations in Industry & Construction sites
- Numerical Modelling & Simulations
- Psycho Acoustics
- Room Acoustics
- Structure-borne Sound and Vibrations
- Traffic Noise & Vibrations
- Vehicle Acoustics & Vibrations
- Virtual Reality & Artificial Intelligence
- Underwater Acoustics
The topics are chosen to reflect all aspects of the very wide “Acoustic” concept including various vibration topics. Each of these topics can have sub-topics like we already now plan for separate sessions in Building Acoustics:
- Building Acoustics: Regulations
- Building Acoustics: Wood Houses
- Building Acoustics: General Purpose
Sub-sessions have also been implemented for Room Acoustics & Environmental Noise
- Room Acoustics: Architectural
- Room Acoustics: Schools, Hospitals, Restaurants, Offices
- Environmental Noise: General Purpose
- Environmental Noise: Aircraft
- Environmental Noise: Barriers
When papers starts coming we will expand topics wherever suitable, like if receiving many papers in “Traffic Noise & Vibrations” which of course is a little overlapping with “Environmental Noise”. We also encourage papers within vibrations due to its large impact on the acoustic environment, hereby especially attracting papers with overlapping acoustics & vibrations like: “Structure-borne Sound and Vibrations” or “Noise & Vibrations in Industry & Construction sites” or “Vehicle Acoustics & Vibrations”
