On behalf of the Nordic Acoustic Association (NAA), the Swedish Acoustic Society (SAS), will in 2026 organize BNAM to be held at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden 4-6 of May 2026. The organization committee represent some of the acoustical societies in the Baltic and Nordic countries and one of the goals is to have more interaction in between countries in the region. We have also included persons with experience from previous BNAM conferences. Because SAS, the Swedish Acoustic Society, is the host we have two persons from SAS and a representative of the venue CTH Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg in the organization committee.
The organization committee (OC) started the work by selecting the conference chair and co-chair as well as establishing the technical committee (TC) and both committees are now working in parallel to organize BNAM 2026. OC

The TC is now setting up the BNAM 2026 program with suitable Session Chairs and sessions Co-Chairs. It has been decided to invite a number of Keynote speakers as well as to let our Platinum and Gold sponsors give some short presentations. The conference will start with a short opening ceremony and end by a closing ceremony. Due to the large interest we will have dual seminars in parallel all days and there will also be some special workshops and visits to the applied acoustic laboratory at Chalmers.
BNAM is also a very popular social event. We encourage to exchange ideas between colleagues and companies in meetings. The exhibition is an important part of this meeting, where a variety of hardware and software products to be showed.
To conclude the social event there will be a reception with mingle after the sessions on Monday and a Banquet with a three course dinner and live music on Tuesday evening, everything included in the delegates registration fee.
